Chris Lyon recognized by MD Defense Counsel

Simms Showers Partner, Chris Lyon, was recently recognized by a non-profit legal organization for his fundraising efforts. With the firm’s support, Chris donates many hours of time raising funds for Maryland Defense Counsel, Inc. The group, often referred to as MDC, presents educational programing with the aim of improving Maryland’s civil justice system to attain equal justice for all litigants. Chris serves on MDC’s Sponsorship Committee, and MDC recently recognized Chris’s work as that of an “Unsung Hero.” The announcement appeared in MDC’s December 2018 issue of its publication, The Defense Line (the excerpt is here). When firm principal Steve Simms asked Chris for a comment, Chris responded, “Aw shucks.”
